Easter in the Vines 2010
Easter in the Vines was fantastic! Find out who got the boot, why a police car visited, and get yourself set for next year!
"Imagine it," says marketing manager Dana Gluzde as she describes Easter in the Vines this year: "We sat under the shade of a huge pecan tree in a comfy old lounge chair as the smell of our steak cooking on the BBQ wafted past. There was live music, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of glasses of Riversands Wines about the placeā¦"

Easter is always a family focused event - with kids activities, an Easter Egg Hunt, and plenty of space to play! "The local police car made a special childrens visit to spice things up - the kids loved the sirens, flashing lights and Easter Egg hunt INSIDE the police car!" says Marketing Manager Dana. (Hope they found all the chocolates or the detainees might have an unexpected treat!)

Fresh from Tamworth Country Music Festival in January, baby faced country singer Adam Kilpatrick entertained us with a mix of country favourites and his quirky songs - such as 'Chicks in Utes'. Adam felt right at home in between sets, kicking back in a lounge chair, sipping his favourite Dr Seidel Soft Red and chatting to Easter visitors. Adam's post on facebook reveals all: "Wow! What a weekend of great wine, great food and good times! It's high on the list for next year for sure."
Along with great wine, good food also features throughout the weekend. One specialty guests can enjoy is the 'cook your own BBQ packs. "The steak was amazing!" Says Nat Rae, who enjoyed succulent rib fillet steak and gourmet sausages for lunch. "It's such a great idea to cook your own steak just the way you like it," she adds.
"The weekend was also a chance to celebrate - we celebrated the 'Western Rivers Run' with competitions and plenty of give aways. We also took the chance to celebrate 10 years of our pottery boot series," says Dana. "We hope to see you all again next year, plus a few of your friends!"
