Farmhand - permanent

Permanent, full time position.

Seeking a bright and energetic person to work as a vineyard farmhand. Position involves weed and vine spraying, tractor and machinery operation, trellis and vineyard maintenance, vine irrigation and vine work.

Must have experience in broadacre or horticultural chemical application. Chemcert certificate required. Mechanical knowledge, logistical nous and lateral thinking skills are important.

This job involves seasonal night time spraying and weekend work. Good communication skills are essential. This position is suited to farming family wishing to relocate closer to school in the dynamic town of St George. Seeking person with a mature outlook, willing to commit for at least 3 years.
