The Taste
This is a replica of a Simpson quart pot purchased in 1965 by a young drover named Joe Buckley. Originally designed to brew up tea and coffee over a camp fire, Joe's tin quart pot underwent a transformation.
Now moulded from pottery, Riversands quart pot holds 750mls of tawny port and is finished with a wire handle, cork and wax top. Each quart pot tells the story of Joe on the back.

Joe celebrated his 16th birthday on the road as a drover, no doubt with a cup of tea brewed in his quart pot! A quart pot consists of a base and lid which Joe carried in a leather case strapped to the saddle.$65.00
