Record attendance at Riversands Easter in the Vines

Rocking to the music of "The Long & Short of It."

Riversands Easter in the Vines attracted record attendance with 250 visitors on Saturday and another 100 visitors in Sunday enjoying the music of 'The Long & Short Of It'.

Staff were busy with over 200 bbq packs and 50 cheese platters consumed. Guests are able to cook their own BBQ lunch with a wine or beer in hand. It was a great opportunity to entertain friends and mix with visitors.

Organiser David Blacket said “Melbourne based duo the 'Long & Short of It' performed popular covers plus some of their own songs including Fifty bucks and a case of beer, gypsy white moon,kangaroo rodeoand grapevine."

"David Baird and Patsy Toop have produced 7 albums and recently recorded at Nashville. I first met David & Patsy at Eulo Music in the Mulga 2018 and was captivated by their great voices and fun songs!"

Easter in the Vines was well supported by locals plus many visiting family and friends from away. Kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and colouring, with a courtesy bus collecting patrons at 11am and 12 noon at Pelican Rest, Riverland Motor Inn and the Cobb & Co Hotel (along Victoria St) stops.

Set in the lush Riversands gardens it offers a chance to enjoy a glass of our Riversands best in the company of friends and family. .

Riversands Easter in the Vines 2020 will be held Saturday 11 & Sunday 12th April.Â
