Our Team

Our dedicated team works tirelessly to produce boutique wines and premium table grapes for your enjoyment! 

It takes many cogs in the wheel to run a successful business! Fortunately we have had many great staff in our employment over many years to develop and operate Riversands.

We depend heavily on our loyal permanent staff such as Trevor and Trish along with many casual staff. Our casual staff mostly originate from Tonga or come as backpackers from various countries around the world. At picking time it is like the United Nations with up to 50 staff either picking or running the packing shed!

Two of our boys Lox & Jock and their cousins and friends have also been an integral part of operations during their school & uni holidays. Or you may see them selling wine at shows and festivals!

Owner & General Manager

As general manager & viticulturist David directs the traffic!

Alison is a director with behind the scenes creative input.

Farm Manager

In his role as farm manager Trevor directs vineyard operations with an individual focus on irrigation, fertilising, tractor driving and weed spraying. 

General Farmhand

Jock has a key role at harvest organising the shed and cart. He also helps David with marketing support.

Vineyard casual

Tema is one of our gun casual workers! Key jobs include picking, pruning and shooting thinning. 

Shed supervisor

Lox has a key role at harvest supervising the packing shed. His main job is stacking and strapping pallets and arranging the coldroom.
