Riversands Spring Food & Wine Pairing Guide

Riversands Spring Food & Wine Pairing Guide

Spring has officially sprung in St George! To celebrate the weather becoming warmer, we have complied a few of our favourite Spring dishes, alongside their recommended perfect Riversands Wines pairing.

Lamb Chops

Lamb chops are an easy and delicious fan favourite meal in Spring. We suggest seasoning the lamb chops with oregano, chilli flakes, lemon, thyme and garlic before BBQing.

Pairing: We recommend pairing your lamb chops with our brand-newSunset Vermentino. You’ll enjoy a crisp medium bodied dry white with apricot, pear and citrus aromas and a savoury palate. Yum!

Fish Tacos and Coleslaw

An easy go to! Lightly coat your fish with chili powder before cooking. It adds a touch of spice to the fish and makes a nice contrast to the slaw. If you're not a fan of chili powder, use plain paprika or any favourite spice mix. Even salt and pepper are just as good!

Pairing: We recommend a glass of ourMajor Mitchell White Moscato. An aromatic sweet fruity wine with floral and passionfruit aromas. Close your eyes and pretend you're in Mexico!

Sea Bass

Sea Bass is a beautiful light fish to enjoy in the Springtime. To make it extra tasty, try adding lemon and garlic butter to your fish and serve with fresh roasted veggies. Potatoes, carrots and asparagus are perfect, or even a fresh garden salad!

Pairing: We suggest pairing your sea bass with a glass of ourBeardmore's Dry White Sauvignon Blanc. A fresh zingy dry white wine with lingering lemon, lime & citrus aromas and green apple flavours. Made from our early picked Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this pairing will have you smiling from ear to ear!
